The Philippines pursued air connectivity initiatives alongside tourism policy, with Transportation Secretary Jaime J Bautista discussing increased Canada-Philippines flights with Canada's Ambassador David Hartman.1 Tourism Secretary Christina Garcia Frasco said the department worked with transport and aviation agencies to increase flights under the National Tourism Development Plan 2023-2028.2
