Porter Airlines’ flight dispatchers, represented by the Canadian Airline Dispatchers Association (CALDA), reached a tentative collective agreement with assistance from the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service, with a ratification vote to be scheduled in the following days1. Earlier, CALDA said Porter dispatchers voted 100% for strike action after more than 14 months of talks, with negotiations in late-stage conciliation supported by the same federal service2.
