Vietnam's Prime Minister Phạm Minh Chính approved a VND5.8 trillion project to construct Quang Tri Airport, with construction commencing on 06-Jul-2024 and completion expected by Jul-20261. The Quang Tri People's Committee signed a build-operate-transfer agreement for the airport's implementation, with the province planning to hand over land to investors by 31-May-20242. The project will be completed in two phases, ultimately accommodating five million passengers and 25,500 tonnes of cargo annually3.
