CAAC reports pax up 12% to 56.6m in Aug-2018, cargo up 6%

CAAC reported (22-Oct-2018) the following traffic highlights for Aug-2018:

• Passengers: 56.6 million, +12.1% year-on-year;
  • Domestic: 50.6 million, +11.9%;
    • Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan: 1.0 million, +13.3%;
  • International: 5.9 million, +13.8%;
• Passenger load factor: 86.5%, +1.4ppts;
• Cargo: 607,000 tonnes, +6.4%;
• • Domestic: 404,000 tonnes, +3.8%;
    • Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan: 21,000 tonnes, -0.1%;
