CAAC reports 6% rise in pax, cargo traffic down 2% in Jun-2011

CAAC reported (21-Jul-2011) the following traffic highlights in Jun-2011:

• Passenger numbers: 23.2 million, +6.3% year-on-year;
  • Domestic: 21.6 million, +6.3%;
  • Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan: 581,000, +10.5%;
  • International: 1.7 million, +6.0%;
• Cargo volume: 435,100 tonnes, -1.7%;
  • Domestic: 291,400, +2.6%;
  • Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan: 18,000 tonnes, -0.3%;
  • International: 143,700 tonnes, -9.4%;
• Average passenger load factor: 81.8%, +1.0 ppt.
