CAAC: Pax up 7%, cargo down 3% in Oct-2012

CAAC reported (22-Nov-2012) the following traffic highlights for Oct-2012:

• Passenger numbers: 28.3 million, +6.8% year-on-year;
  • Domestic: 26.4 million, +7.4%;
    • Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan: 690,000, +5.8%;
  • International: 1.9 million, -0.1%;
• Passenger load factor: 80.7%, -1.8 ppts;
• Cargo volume: 456,200 tonnes, -3.0%;
  • Domestic: 324,600 tonnes, +0.9%;
    • Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan: 15,000 tonnes, -1.4%;
  • International: 131,600 tonnes, -11.4%.
