CAAC confirms removing floor price on 31 domestic routes

CAAC and National Development and Reform Commission jointly announced (06-Nov-2013) that effective 20-Oct-2013, the floor price for 31 domestic routes were eliminated, allowing airlines to set air fares as low as they want, which is intended to "give customers more choice." The reform is the first since 2004 when carriers were allowed to set prices on most routes within a specified band. The routes affected under the new policy include:
