CAAC confirms Chinese airlines pax up 16% to 51.4m in Mar-2018, 615,000 tonnes of cargo

CAAC confirmed (19-Apr-2018) the following traffic highlights for Chinese airlines for Mar-2018:

Passengers: 51.4 million, +15.9% year-on-year;
- Domestic: 461 million, +15.4%;
- International: 5.3 million, +20.3%;
Cargo: 615,000 tonnes, +4.0%;
On time performance: 81.2%, +5.9ppts;
