Brussels Airlines planned to close ‘THE LOFT’ at Brussels Airport for renovation from 07-Jan-2026 to end of summer 2026, replacing it with a 200sqm pop-up lounge near gate A27 and extending Sunrise Lounge opening hours.1 CFO Nina Öwerdieck said it continued investing in brand, product and fleet, citing new A320neo deliveries and the lounge renovation, while redeploying summer 2026 European capacity after suspending Middle East services.2 Brussels Airlines previously outlined over EUR100 million of investment to introduce new cabins across all long haul classes from 2027, alongside other long haul business class product upgrades.3 4
