British Airways' union talks 'constructive' but no sign of breakthrough

British Airways CEO Keith Williams stated talks earlier this month with cabin crew union Unite had been "constructive" although there is still no sign of a breakthrough in the long-running dispute that led to 22 days of strikes in 2010 (TTGLive, 21-Mar-2011). "I agreed with Willie's position on the strike. The pay and conditions of our cabin crew must be put on an equal footing with the rest of industry," Mr Williams said.
