Air India had scheduled an increase on the Delhi-London Heathrow route to four times daily from 26-Oct-2025, joining British Airways and Virgin Atlantic as operators on this sector1. British Airways' CEO Sean Doyle previously highlighted India as the airline's second largest market, emphasising strategic growth plans in both Delhi and broader Indian connectivity through Heathrow2. The carrier had also outlined plans to operate 63 weekly frequencies across five Indian cities3.
