Bristol Airport partnered with Ultima Forma on a liquid hydrogen refuelling project funded via its Aviation Carbon Transition Programme, with head of sustainability Hannah Pollard saying the first regional hydrogen flights were expected in the coming years and the study advanced future storage and refuelling planning1. Bristol Airport also said it would receive 21 new electric buses in 2026 to make its Airport Flyer fleet fully electric, supporting its net zero operations by 2030 aim2.
