Background ✨
Brescia Montichiari Airport’s cargo focus followed longer-term plans by Lombardy’s regional government and Catullo SpA to expand cargo terminals, warehouses and the runway by 2030, positioning the airport as a European-level cargo hub.1 2 SAVE SpA group cargo director Massimo Roccasecca previously linked Brescia’s cargo growth to integrating a Poste Italiane distribution centre and said the airport aimed to maximise cargo capacity and attract more e-commerce shipments.3
