Boeing to slow some B787 deliveries

Boeing stated some B787 deliveries could be slowed by one to two months, due to a Sep-2010 production slowdown (Seattle Times, 26-Jun-2010). Deliveries of B787 sections to the final assembly plant will be slowed, addressing some parts shortages. Some B787 customers have requested later deliveries. Planned deliveries in 2010 and 2011 will be unaffected.

Boeing: "I don't think we are going to be disappointing anybody with the deliveries, but there are always subtleties we have to work out with our customers," Scott Fancher, B787 programme director. Source: Seattle Times, 26-Jun-2010.
