Boeing to limit risks on narrowbody replacement

Boeing Commercial Airplanes CEO Jim Albaugh stated the company is taking a risk-averse approach to its next generation narrowbody aircraft and is attempting to avoid delays by not adding too much new technology on the aircraft (Seattle Times, 14-Mar-2011).

Boeing Commercial Airplanes: "We need to limit the risk and make sure that what we are biting off is not as much as we bit off on the B787. I don't want this airplane to be the son of B787," Jim Albaugh, CEO. Source: Seattle Times, 14-Mar-2011.
