Boeing sees 'very bright future' for LCCs

Boeing Commercial Airplanes executive director market analysis Wendy Sowers, speaking at the CAPA Global LCC Summit, noted (01-Mar-2018) eight of the top 10 airlines by operating margin are LCCs and described low cost as a "very profitable business model". Ms Sowers said LCCs have "found a winning approach in the market place" and commented: "We see a very bright future for the low cost carriers".
