Boeing publishes standard configurations for 777-9

Boeing published (Apr-2017) preliminary information and characteristics data on the 777-9, in a document for general airport planning. The 777-9 is scheduled to be the first aircraft model in the 777X series to enter service. Boeing listed standard configurations for the aircraft:

  • Standard two class: 414 seats, comprising 372 economy seats with a 32in pitch and 42 business class seats with an 85in pitch;
  • Standard three class: 349 seats, comprising 292 economy seats with a 32in pitch, 49 business class seats with an 85in pitch and eight individual first class cabins.

Standard economy seating is 10 abreast in a 3-4-3 layout. [more - original PR]
