Boeing predicts delivery financing to increase to USD77bn in 2011

Boeing Capital Corp, the funding unit of Boeing, stated it expects aircraft delivery financing to increase from USD62 billion in 2010 to USD77 billion in 2011 adding that there will be "fewer risks and greater liquidity for all" in aircraft financing in 2011 as investors, private equity and hedge funds return to the market (Bloomberg, 20-Jan-2011). The company added that the increased flow of money into aircraft financing is being driven by "sustained real product demand" as the global economic rebound spurs travel demand. Boeing Capital Corp MD Kostya Zolotusky added: "The industry overall will have adequate availability of reasonably priced capital."
