Boeing president and CEO Kelly Ortberg stated it was "very close" to achieving a 38-per-month 737 production rate and planned a US FAA milestone review before increasing to 42 per month. He expected the next review in late 2025, targeting 47 per month in 1H2026 if stability was maintained, with process improvements contributing to these gains1. The 787 programme was previously targeted to reach 10 per month in 2025/262.
