Boeing reports (07-Jan-2010) the following orders and deliveries at its commercial aircraft business for 2009.

  • Deliveries:
    • B737: 372;
    • B777: 88;
    • B747: 8;
    • B767: 13;
    • Total: 481.
  • Orders (Gross/Net):
    • B737: 197/178;
    • B777: 30/19;
    • B747: 5/2;
    • B767: 7/2;
    • B787: 24/-59;
    • Total: 263/142.
  • Cancellations:
    • B737: 19;
    • B777: 11;
    • B747: 3;
    • B767: 5;
    • B787: 83.
  • Firm order backlog:
    • B737: 2076;
    • B777: 281;
    • B747: 108;
    • B767: 59;
    • B787: 851;
    • Total: 3,375.

Boeing expects to provide 2010 commercial aircraft delivery guidance when the company releases year-end earnings on 27-Jan-2009. The company reaffirmed the B747-8F is slated for first flight early this year with first delivery planned for 4Q2010. Delivery of the B747-8 passenger version is planned for 4Q2011. [more]
