Boeing and ANA mark 50th ANA 787; saves USD98m p/a in fuel compared to 767

Boeing Commercial Airplanes VP marketing Randy Tinseth, via his 'Randy's Journal' blog, stated (17-Aug-2016) ANA took delivery of its 50th 787 on 17-Aug-2016. Mr Tinseth noted that compared to the 767, the 787 saves the airline USD98 million p/a in fuel. Since entering service in 2011, the 787 has flown more than 109 million passengers on more than 500 routes around the world, including more than 120 new nonstop routes made possible through its efficiency.
