Birmingham Airport and National Express West Midlands previously marked the 100,000th passenger on the 97A bus, nine months after it was extended to the airport, with up to every 30 minutes service day and night.1 The airport also said National Express West Midlands planned to launch a new 17A bus link to Birmingham city centre on 03-Aug-2025, part of efforts to cut Scope three emissions with public transport operators.2
