Charlotte Douglas International Airport participated in the Enhanced Primary Processing (EPP) test programme in early Feb-2025, with Dallas Fort Worth International Airport, Denver International Airport and Seattle-Tacoma International Airport also serving as additional test sites for the programme, which uses facial comparison technology to streamline processing for US citizens and reduce overcrowding in inspection halls1. EPP was also launched at Terminal 4 at New York JFK2.
