Beijing Airport pax up 5%, cargo up 9% in 1Q2013; targets 21 million pax in 2Q, 85 million in 2013

China's Beijing Capital International Airport reported (02-Apr-2013) the following traffic highlights for three months ended Mar-2013:

• Passenger numbers: 20.0 million, +4.8% year-on-year;
• Cargo volume: 418,000 tonnes, +8.7%;

Looking ahead, the airport expects to handle 21.2 million passengers in 2Q2013 and 85.0 million passengers in full-year 2013, an increase of 3.7%.
