Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport traffic exceeds 47 million in 2010/11

Airports of Thailand Plc reported that Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport's passenger traffic for the fiscal year, which ended in Sep-2011, exceeded 47 million (Bangkok Post, 04-Oct-2011). The airport was designed to handle 45 million p/a. AoT projections are for passenger traffic through the airport to rise to 49.4 million for 2012, 52.1 million in 2013, 54.9 million in 2013, 57.8 million in 2014, 60.7 million in 2015 and 68 million in 2016.
