BALPA calls off British Airways pilot strike on 27-Sep-2019, offers to negotiate

British Airline Pilots' Association (BALPA) cancelled (18-Sep-2019) additional strike action planned at British Airways (BA), scheduled for 27-Sep-2019. BALPA general secretary Brian Strutton commented the pilots "pilots have decided to take the responsible course" and take the initiative to "sort out this dispute" despite "no sign of that from BA."
