Bahrain Parliament announces Gulf Air petition to replace management

Bahrain Parliament reportedly announced a petition from Gulf Air calling for the replacement of the carrier's management (Arabian Supply Chain, 05-May-2010).

Bahrain Parliament: "Gulf Air was in its worst slump last year according to international figures, which show that from 2001 until last year, the company lost USD2 billion (BD750 million). This is mainly because of unnecessary spending on consultants, who have clearly drained the company's money, without any real benefit," Abdulhaleem Murad, MP and Chairman of the Parliamentary Investigation Committee into Gulf Air," Source: Arabian Supply Chain, 05-May-2010.
