Bahrain International Airport to tender new terminal design contracts in 1Q2010

Bahrain Airport Company (BAC) CEO, Dr Osama Al Ali, announced plans to tender the design contract for two new terminals at Bahrain International Airport in 1Q2010, while construction contract may be tendered within 1H2010 (ConstructionWeekOnline, 07-Dec-2009). The contract for utilities and land utilisation planning, currently under tender, is expected to be awarded in early 2010. The total airport expansion project is worth USD4.7 billion.
