Avolon expands fleet by 69% in 2016

Avolon reported (24-Jan-2017) the following 2016 operational highlights for 4Q2016 and full year 2016:

• 4Q2016:
• • Took delivery of 25 aircraft;
  • Sold seven aircraft;
  • Signed LoI for the sale and leaseback of further 13 aircraft including seven A320neo, two 737 MAX and two A350s.
• Full year 2016:
• • Took delivery of 74 aircraft;
  • Sold 35 aircraft;
  • Increased owned, managed and committed fleet by 69% year-on-year to 435 aircraft at the end of 2016;
  • Average age of owned fleet of 3.5 years and average remaining lease term of 7.3 years at the end of 2016;
