Avinor: 'Govt grants key to making Avinor more financially robust'

Avinor reiterated (26-Nov-2020) its projection of a reduction in revenue of between NOK7 billion (EUR655.9 million) and NOK8 billion (EUR749.6 million) in 2020. The operator stated that the Norwegian Government will extend the opportunity to publicly purchase routes and will maintain financial support measures for airlines launched earlier in 2020 in relation to coronavirus. Avinor added: "Government grants are key to making Avinor more financially robust". The government plans to grant NOK4270 million (EUR400.1 million) in grants to Avinor, of which NOK2570 million (EUR240.8 million) has already been paid out. [more - original PR]
