Avinor EBITDA jumps 37% in 1Q2011

Norway's Avinor revenue up 10% - financial highlights for the three months ended 31-Mar-2011:

• Revenue: EUR240.3 million, +9.5% year-on-year;
  • Airport operations: EUR214.7 million, +9.7%;
  • Air navigation services: EUR56.5 million, +6.8%;
• EBITDA: EUR61.4 million, +37.2%;
  • Airport operations: EUR37.6 million;
  • Air navigation services: EUR1.1 million;

Avinor: "For 2011 as a whole, traffic volumes and operating revenues are expected to increase when compared with 2010. This strong trend is also expected to continue in the long term. Growth in air traffic will primarily be in the larger cities and eastern Norway in particular.
