Aviation sector impacted by 'antiquated rules' on airline ownership, other restrictions: WTTC

World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC) president and CEO David Scowsill, speaking at the CAPA Australia Pacific Aviation Summit, stated (07-Aug-2013) aviation is an "exciting sector" but one full of "challenge and change". He noted the numbers "issues and challenges" in the sector, noting that many complexities and constraints are related to the "antiquated rules" of airline ownership and other regulator restrictions. He said, "There is no other industry bound up in so much historical and government red tape".
