Aviation Australia previously partnered Qantas to establish the Qantas Group Engineering Academy in Brisbane and Melbourne from 2025, with Aviation Australia to train up to 300 aircraft engineers p/a.1 2 Qantas later inaugurated its Brisbane engineering academy, using an updated programme developed with Aviation Australia and an initial intake of 30 apprentices in 2025.3 Aviation Australia also signed a strategic partnership with VietJet Aviation Academy to deliver a translational Aircraft Maintenance Engineers programme aligned with EASA and Vietnam CAA standards.4
