Australia's Minister for Infrastructure Catherine King authorised preliminary airspace and flight paths for Western Sydney International Airport on 04-Jun-2025, alongside measures such as a directive to Airservices Australia to prioritise reciprocal runway operations at night and the establishment of a community engagement forum on noise issues.1 Airservices later released detailed flight path designs and sought feedback on noise abatement procedures via 25 engagement sessions held 30-Jul-2025 to 14-Sep-2025.2 Flight path changes authorised in Jun-2025 were scheduled to take effect on 09-Jul-2026 across Sydney's airports, supported by a Jul-Sep 2025 engagement programme and new noise monitoring locations.3
