Qantas Airways announced it would launch three times weekly services from Perth to Johannesburg and Auckland on 07-Dec-2025 and 08-Dec-2025, respectively, using A330 aircraft, adding over 155,000 seats annually at Perth Airport1. Perth Airport's chief commercial and aviation officer, Kate Holsgrove, stated the airport is expanding capacity at Terminals 3 and 4 as part of interim measures while building new terminal facilities at Airport Central, set for completion in 20312.
