Air New Zealand recently took delivery of its 30th ATR 72-600 aircraft, which will be used for regional operations, enhancing its fleet with a more fuel-efficient Pratt & Whitney PW127XT engine1. The carrier plans to roll out Starlink connectivity on its domestic fleet following a successful trial, beginning installations in late 2024 and continuing into 20252. Other airlines, such as Air France, are also adopting Starlink technology for their fleets3.
