Astronics reported deliveries of 350 shipsets of its EmPower UltraLite G2 USB onboard power system since its 2022 launch, with a backlog of 300 systems to be delivered and installed by end-2024; it was offered linefit and retrofit with USB Type-A/Type-C outlets1. Astronics also said “more than a dozen airlines” committed to install UltraLite G2 on more than 1100 narrowbody aircraft over three years2.
