Asiana Airlines outlines fleet renewal plans, 34 aircraft by 2023

Asiana Airlines announced (12-Jun-2019) plans introduce 34 next generation aircraft by 2023, including 19 A350s and 15 A321neos. Asiana plans to introduce four new A350 aircraft later in 2019, bringing its fleet of A350s to 10 by the end of the year. It also plans to introduce two A321neos in 2H2019 to operate on domestic routes. The airline also plans to significantly reduce the number of aircraft older than 10 years in its fleet, with selected older aircraft in the fleet to operate as freighters.
