Asia Airfreight Terminal reports 39% rise in Aug-2010 cargo volume

Hong Kong's Asia Airfreight Terminal (AAT) throughput increases 39%: traffic highlights in Aug-2010:

  • Tonnage throughput: 59,982 tonnes, +39%;
    • Export cargo: 43,320, +50%;
    • Import cargo: 16,181, +7%;
    • Trans-shipment cargo: 482, +2%. [more]

AAT added that export tonnage between Jan-Jul-2010 is up 62% over the same period in 2009.
