ASAFA CEO: Net zero by 2050 is 'not going to be easy'

Asia Sustainable Aviation Fuel Association (ASAFA) CEO Fabrice Espinosa, speaking at the CAPA Airline Leader Summit Asia, stated (30-Oct-2025) there is a "long way to go" for the aviation industry to achieve net zero emissions by 2050, adding: "It's not going to be easy". Mr Espinosa added that there is "no other way that for aviation to become fully sustainable".
