Israel's Finance Ministry issued a request for information to assess the economic feasibility of Tel Aviv-Buenos Aires, with Israel's government considering subsidies for operating the route1. Previously, Argentina's Ambassador to Israel Axel Wahnish said El Al planned a direct Tel Aviv-Buenos Aires service, while El Al stated no inauguration date had been set and discussions were ongoing2.
