ARENA previously committed up to AUD2.4 million for Viva Energy to recondition an existing Pinkenba Terminal tank to enable blended SAF supply into Brisbane Airport, as part of its Sustainable Aviation Fuels Funding Initiative launched in 2023.1 2 ARENA also funded multiple Queensland-focused studies, including Jet Zero Australia’s Townsville alcohol-to-jet FEED work and Ampol’s Brisbane Renewable Fuels Pre-FEED at Lytton.3 4
