Background ✨
Archer previously outlined proposed US air taxi networks in New York City with United Airlines, aiming to link Manhattan and nearby airports using existing vertiports and helipads, with five to 15 minute flights.1 It also announced proposed networks in Los Angeles and the San Francisco Bay Area, targeting 10 to 20 minute trips and initial launch timelines from end-2025 to as early as 2026.2 3 Wisk Aero separately signed an MoU with Houston Airport System to plan autonomous air taxi vertiports at Houston’s main airports.4
