Antonov developing stretched and long-range versions of An-148

Antonov announced (27-Aug-2013) it is progressing with the development of a number of new variants of the An-148/158 regional jet family:

• An-148-200: Stretched version of the baseline An-148, featuring seating for up to 89 passengers;
• An-148-300: Long-range version of the An-148, with a operating range of up to 7000km is being also developed;
• An-178: New aircraft based on the An-148/158 family, to be produced for both civil and military operations. [more - original PR]
