ANI unveils plans for New Cartagena Airport City PPP project

Colombia's ANI presented (15-Aug-2019) the PPP project for the construction of Cartagena Airport City. The project specifies the construction of a new airport 24km from Cartagena's historical centre, with the capacity for 17 million passengers p/a. The project would be carried out under a 30 year concession, out of which the first six years are for the construction of the airport. Project details are as follows:

• Total land area: 654ha;
• Phase I terminal: 72,000sqm;
• Complete terminal: 100,000sqm;
• Operational capacity: 40 operations p/h;
