Schiphol Group CEO Pieter van Oord said 2025 was an “important” year, citing a new strategy, revised airport charges and a master plan aimed at a “quality airport” balanced with its surroundings.1 Schiphol introduced higher charges for noisy aircraft from Apr-2025, lifting the share in the two quietest tariff categories to 32.6% in Apr-2025 to Dec-2025, and it forecast operations to be 15% quieter by day and 32% quieter at night in 2026.1 Schiphol planned EUR10 billion of modernisation investment by 2035, including a new terminal and renovated piers, with Pier A scheduled to open in 2027.2 3
