American Airlines and Dallas Fort Worth International Airport previously increased investment in the Terminal F expansion to USD4 billion, doubling the number of gates and expanding international operations, with the first phase set to be operational in 2027 and use and lease agreements extended through 20431. Major works also commenced on a nearly USD9 billion capital improvement plan, including Terminal C reconstruction and pier expansions to add nine gates2.
