ALTA traffic up 10.8% in Jul-2010

Latin American and Caribbean Air Transport Association (ALTA) traffic up 10.8%: traffic highlights in Jul-2010:

  • Passenger numbers: 12.5 million, +10.8%;
    • Domestic: 8.4 million, +9.7%;
    • Intra-Latin America: 2.6 million, +19.1%;
    • Extra-Latin America: 1.5 million, +3.8%
  • RPKs: 18.5 billion, +13.9%;
    • Domestic: 8.0 billion, +12.2%;
    • Intra-Latin America: 4.3 billion, +26.2%;
    • Extra-Latin America: 6.2 billion, +7.8%;
  • Load factor: 75.8 +1.3 ppts;
    • Domestic: 72.0%, -1.3 ppts;
    • Intra-Latin America: 74.2%, +6.8 ppts;
    • Extra-Latin America: 82.6%, 1.5 ppts;
  • FTKs: 322 million, +18.5%;
    • Domestic: 37.1 million, +14.6%;
    • Intra-Latin America: 73.9 million, +21.7%;
