ALTA CEO: 'Air travel isn’t a luxury, it’s a necessity'

ALTA CEO Peter Cerda, speaking at the CAPA Airline Leader Summit World, stated (11-Dec-2025) "We don't have the luxury in Latin America to have alternate means of transportation, such as rail or highway systems, in terms of long haul". Mr Cerda added: "Air travel isn't a luxury, it's a necessity".
