TAV Airports inaugurated the new international terminal at Almaty International Airport, enhancing capacity to 14 million passengers annually with a USD200 million investment1. The existing terminal was designated for domestic services, used by airlines including Air Astana and FlyArystan2. Prime Minister Alikhan Smailov anticipated the new terminal would significantly boost passenger traffic and flight geography, with cargo expected to reach 100,000 tonnes3.
